Starward Peated Finish is an Australian single malt from the Starward distillery in Melbourne, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. The casks were filled in 2017 and the whisky was bottled in 2022, after at least three years of maturation. It matures in red wine casks and is then finished in casks that previously held peated Islay single malt. It is not chill filtered and has no added colour. The result pairs the peat smoke of the Scottish coast with juicy, tropical fruit.
