- Islay peated whisky barrel finish
Starward Peated Finish is an Australian single malt aged in red wine barrels, then finished in peated whisky barrels from Islay. It is bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It won a Gold medal at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Starward's tropical notes sit alongside smoky, earthy flavours from Islay's coastal peat, and the peat works with the sweetness of the whisky.
