Starward Stout Cask is an Australian single malt made from the distillery's wine-matured whisky, aged further in imperial stout barrels. The barrels came from a brewery in a Melbourne neighbourhood. It is bottled at 52% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The release brings craft distilling and craft brewing together, and is described as the first single malt of its kind.
Coffee and dark chocolate notes run alongside the thick texture of the malt.
