Starward Unexpeated 2021 is an Australian single malt matured in red wine barrels before a finish in barrels previously used for heavily peated Islay whisky. This experimental expression is offered at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Tropical fruit and toasted oak mark the nose. The palate brings ripe red berries, sea salt and cocoa, followed by lingering toasted oak and a little peat smoke on the finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
