Stauning Bastard Mezcal Finish is a Danish rye whisky made entirely from local ingredients. The grain is floor malted at the distillery and double-distilled in flame-heated pot stills.
The rye spends at least three years in new, toasted virgin American oak casks. It is then finished for a minimum of six months in old mezcal casks from Oro de Oaxaca in Mexico. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
