Stauning Smoke is a peated whisky from Jutland in Denmark, in a 70cl bottle. Its smokiness comes from selected peat, and it is distilled in copper stills. The nose combines burnt wood and delicate spices with bark smoke and a light note of dried fruit. The palate is full, with a warm, soft persistence that recalls glowing charcoal, and the finish is lightly spiced. It can be drunk neat or with a splash of water.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
