Stellum Black Rye Whiskey (75cl, 57.1%)

Stellum Black is a cask-strength rye whiskey from Stellum Spirits, the sister brand of Barrell Craft Spirits in Louisville, Kentucky. It is bottled at 57.13% ABV in a 75cl bottle, uncut and non-chill-filtered, with no age statement. It blends six styles of straight rye from reserve barrels in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee, with older reserve barrels folded into the original Stellum Rye blend. Indiana rye forms the backbone, rounded by the Kentucky and Tennessee barrels. The nose is bold, with rye spice, toasted oak and dark caramel. The palate is full and chewy, with pepper, baking spice and barrel char, and the finish is long, warm and spicy.
