Stranahan's 10 Year Old 'Mountain Angel' is a single malt whiskey from Colorado, made from 100% malted barley. It spent ten years in new American oak barrels and is bottled at 45.1% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
On the nose there are warm baking spices, caramelised sugar and vanilla, with citrus and floral notes appearing as it opens. The palate brings honeyed oak, toasted grains and a little dried fruit, and the finish is long and warm.
