Stranahan's Diamond Peak 2025 is a six-year-old American single malt from Denver, Colorado, bottled at 45% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is made with Colorado-grown barley and Rocky Mountain spring water, then distilled and aged at altitude.
It starts in new American oak and is finished in a rotating selection of craft beer casks, including coffee stout, Belgian quadrupel and barleywine. This is a limited release.
The nose brings dried apricot, crème brûlée and roasted malt. The palate is rich and tropical, with brown sugar, coffee and a touch of fermentation funk, leading to a warm, viscous finish of cola spice, oak tannin and malt.
