Stranahan's Sherry Cask is a single malt whiskey from Colorado, in a 750ml bottle. It starts as the distillery's four-year-old Rocky Mountain Single Malt.
That whiskey is then moved into 500-litre Oloroso sherry barrels for a cask finish. The barrels come from the Andalusia region of southern Spain and held wine for more than 40 years, which left depth of flavour soaked into the old oak staves.
