This is Batch 2 from Strathearn, a single malt from the Highlands. The nose is malty and sweet, with vanilla and spice from ginger, cinnamon and oak. The palate is generously sweet, with honey, some citrus and a suggestion of cereal, and apricot and pepper sit in the background. Cinnamon and oak carry through the finish.
