Strathearn Batch 3 is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky bottled by Douglas Laing as a small-batch release. Its character comes from a combination of ex-bourbon, virgin oak and ex-sherry casks, with a heavier emphasis on sherry casks in this edition. Thirty-one hand-picked casks were married together for the batch. The tasting notes describe roasted malt, dark honey, warming spices, chocolate and cocoa.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
