Strathmill – 11 Year Old 2015 Little Brown Dog Spirits (70cl, 54.6%)

This is a single cask Strathmill, an 11 year old single malt from Little Brown Dog Spirits, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 7 April 2015, matured in an American oak Cream Sherry hogshead and bottled on 21 July 2026 at a cask strength of 54.6% ABV, with 286 bottles produced. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. The cask was chosen for its rounded, integrated character. The Cream Sherry hogshead gives a subtler sherry influence that works alongside the Strathmill spirit rather than overpowering it. The nose offers old oak furniture, rowan jelly and Grand Marnier. The palate brings custard doughnut, pink grapefruit and port glaze, and the finish has Sancerre, pear soda and mace.
