This is a 15 year old Strathmill from the Manager's Dram series, selected by Diageo distillery managers and bottled at the distillery in December 2003 at 53.5%. It is a Speyside single malt matured in a refill cask, and colour has been added.
The nose is bright with orange peel, dried apricot and red berries, plus warm nutmeg and basil. Honeyed malt leads the palate, alongside ripe pear, brown sugar and toasted almonds. The finish is medium to long, with vanilla and a little spice.
