Strathmill 17 Year Old is a single malt from Speyside, bottled in the Old Malt Cask series by Douglas Laing & Co. It was distilled in October 1992 and bottled in January 2010.
The whisky was drawn from a refill hogshead and is one of 298 bottles.
The nose is spicy, with vanilla tablet, dry herbs, sweet tobacco and cocoa butter. The palate is round and full flavoured, spicy and still sweet, with a brulee caramel character. The finish is medium to long, with spice and sweetness and fruit bitters lingering.
