Suntory – Ao World Blend (35cl)

Suntory Ao World Blend is a blended whisky in a 35cl bottle, bringing together whiskies from five countries: Japan, Scotland, Ireland, Canada and the United States. The Scottish part comes from the Highland distilleries Ardmore and Glen Garioch, the Irish from Cooley, the Canadian from Alberta and the American from Jim Beam. Hakushu and Yamazaki supply the Japanese whisky. The name Ao recalls the blue of the ocean that links the different whisky regions. The nose is fruity with vanilla and a lingering woody note. The palate is soft and sweet, with light smoke and cinnamon spice, leading to a complex, spicy and woody finish.
