Hakushu Distiller's Reserve is a Japanese single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43%. It comes from Hakushu Distillery, built in 1973 in the dense forests of Mount Kaikomagatake. The whisky has a brisk aroma and flavour that recalls the green forests around the distillery.
The nose offers peppermint, melon and cucumber. On the palate there are yuzu, grapefruit, lemon and thyme, and the finish is refreshing with subtle smoke.
