Suntory Hibiki Japanese Harmony (43%)

Hibiki Japanese Harmony is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, bottled at 43%. It is built from malt and grain whiskies from Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita, and matured in several types of cask, Japanese Mizunara oak among them. The colour is a bright gold, and the bottle is a decanter with 24 facets, one for each of the 24 seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar. The nose is soft and leafy, with rose, lychee and sandalwood and a touch of rosemary. On the palate there is candied orange peel and white chocolate. The finish is long and subtle, with Mizunara oak notes.
