Toki Black is a limited edition Japanese whisky from the House of Suntory, in a 750ml bottle at 43% ABV. It is the first limited edition release of Toki.
It is a blend of spirits from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries, and includes Hakushu Peated malt and Hakushu Grain, which bring a gentle smokiness and richness to the Toki style.
On the nose there is baked apple, oregano and honeysuckle. The palate offers butterscotch, clove, cinnamon, lavender and toasted rosemary, followed by white pepper, ginger and a lingering light smokiness.
