Surrau Sciala Vermentino di Gallura DOCG

A white wine from Surrau, made from Vermentino grown in the hills around Arzachena in Sardinia. The grapes are given brief skin contact, then fermented in steel tanks and matured for some months on fine lees. It is straw yellow with greenish reflections. The aroma recalls Sardinian vegetation with intense fruity and floral notes, and the palate is soft and persistent with vegetal notes. It suits fish dishes, white meats and fresh cheeses.
