Suze is a French aperitif liqueur made from gentian root, bottled at 20% in a 70cl bottle. The liquid is aged for 18 months in seasoned oak casks, and it works well in cocktails.
The nose is aromatic, with notes of gentian root.
On the palate there are light honey and syrup notes over a gentle herbal base, followed by a tangy, sharp finish.
