Sweetens Cove 5 Year Bourbon (75cl, 46.9%)

Sweetens Cove 5 Year is a Tennessee bourbon with a five-year age statement, bottled at 46.85% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The whiskey is sourced from Tennessee distillate stocks rather than made at a single distillery of its own. Marianne Eaves, formerly of Woodford Reserve and Castle & Key, selects the barrels and blends the bourbon herself. The nose brings honey, warm brown sugar, cedar and fresh apple. On the palate caramel leads, followed by cigar leaf, butterscotch, cinnamon and red fruit. The finish is long and smooth, with butterscotch, vanilla and toasted almond.
