Sweetens Cove Dunwoody 6 Year is a Tennessee wheated bourbon, aged six years and bottled at 47.5% (95 proof) in a 750ml bottle. The mashbill is corn, malted barley and wheat, matured in new charred oak. It is named after the Dunwoody Tree, a pine that stood beside the first hole of the Sweetens Cove golf course in South Pittsburg until it fell the day after Christmas in 2022.
Caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and orange zest feature on the nose. The palate is rich and buttery, with brown sugar, winter fruit and baking spice. The finish is long and creamy, with lingering spice and mild oak.
