A limited-run bourbon that blends Kentucky and Tennessee whiskeys and finishes them in cuvée wine barrels. It is bottled at 49% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
Marianne Eaves directed the blend, and this was the first release in the Sweetens Cove experimental annual series.
The nose is warm caramel and toasted vanilla, with baking spice and dried stone fruit. The palate opens with butterscotch and brown sugar, then baked oak and cinnamon, with dark cherry and plum building towards the middle. The finish is medium to long, with caramel, toasted grain and cinnamon, and a soft, fruity sweetness from the wine barrels.
