Swell de Spirits Private Garden #11 Unpeated Ledaig 1994 (50cl, 55.8%)

This is an unpeated Ledaig from the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull, number 11 in the Private Garden series from Swell de Spirits. It was distilled in July 1994 and matured throughout in a first-fill Oloroso hogshead, then bottled in September 2023 at 29 years old and a cask strength of 55.8%. It comes in a 50cl bottle, and 357 numbered bottles were produced. The nose offers overripe pineapple, rum and raisin fudge, grape jam, pecan pie, peach crumble and butterscotch. The palate brings overripe apples and pineapple, warming spices and stewed stone fruit. The finish is dried fruit and spice with fresh-cut oak.
