This is a Brut Champagne from Taittinger, from the 2008 vintage, released in 2016 as part of the house's Collection series. The series pairs its wines with contemporary artists, and this edition is dedicated to the Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado.
The bottle carries one of his best-known images, a leopard drinking from a spring in Namibia.
The nose is rich and generous, mineral, moving towards fruit with notes of yeast and bread crust. The palate opens with a characteristic citrus flavour.
