Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2014 (75cl)

Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2014 is made only in exceptional vintage years, as the fullest expression of the Taittinger style. It is entirely Chardonnay, grown in top vineyards of the Côte des Blancs, and only the first press juice is used. Five per cent of the blend spends three to four months in new oak barrels. Before disgorgement the wine ages for 10 years on the lees in 13th-century chalk cellars that once belonged to the abbey of Saint Nicaise.
