This is an 11 year old Talisker from the Isles, part of the Diageo Special Release 2022 series. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled in 2022 at a cask strength of 55.1% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose brings campfire embers, a little sea air and a hint of citrus. On the palate come black pepper, grilled fruit and a soft creaminess. The finish is long, rich and spicy, with a note of sea salt.
