This is a 43 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Talisker, the distillery on the Isle of Skye. It comes in a 70cl bottle and has spent its 43 years maturing in cask. The nose is smoky, with notes of iodine-tinged sea air and old wood. On the palate there is dark chocolate, toasted malt, subtle spice and a hint of dried fruit. The finish is long and peaty, with a light salty touch.
