Talisker 8 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Skye, in a 75.5cl bottle at 80° proof, which is 45.7% vol. This bottle dates from the 1970s and comes in its original carton.
Tasting notes describe ripe pear, orchard apples, dried apricot, cinnamon, clove and a little oak on the nose. The palate brings malted barley, honeyed vanilla, nutmeg and dark chocolate, with a silky texture. The finish is medium to long and warming, with toasted almonds and a faint smokiness.
