Talisker Tidal Churn is an 8 year old single malt from the Isle of Skye, released as part of the 2024 Diageo Special Release. It is bottled at a cask strength of 58.7% in a 20cl bottle.
After eight years of maturation the whisky was finished in Stone-Spun casks, whose insides are worked with rotating stones, and the casks were lightly re-toasted. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
On the nose it offers dense coastal smoke and salty sea air alongside ripe apple and juicy pear.
