This is an 8 year old Talisker single malt from the Isle of Skye, released as part of the Diageo Special Releases 2024. It comes in a 20cl bottle at a cask strength of 58.7%, with no added colouring and no chill-filtration. The whisky was finished in stone-spun and lightly re-toasted casks. The casks are described as having interiors polished by the action of water and stone, and the light re-toasting in the final stage is said to bring a balance of sweetness and spice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
