This is Talisker 8 Year Old, a single malt from the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The nose has apple and pear, blackberry and dried apricot, with cinnamon, fresh mint and a clear oak presence. The palate is led by toffee and vanilla, with ginger, sea salt and toasted almonds in an oily texture. The finish is long and warming, with smoky oak and citrus zest.
