Talisker – Glacial Edge 45 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Talisker Glacial Edge is a 45 year old single malt, a limited edition made in collaboration with the marine conservation charity Parley for the Oceans. It began as a maturation experiment: twelve heavily charred American oak casks were sent from the Isle of Skye to the Arctic ice fields of Canada. There, sub-zero temperatures fractured the wood, changing how the whisky interacted with the casks as it matured.
