Talisker Skye is a single malt from the only distillery on the Isle of Skye, in a 70cl bottle. It was introduced as the replacement for the 10 year old, and is made from a blend of distillates of different styles and ages. The colour is a bright old gold. The nose opens with strong peat alongside candied citrus, caramel and dried fruit, with malt, ginger and briny, peppery notes. The palate is soft and warm, with dried fruit and smoke returning, and the finish is peppery.
