Talisker – Skye (70cl)

Talisker Skye is a single malt from the Isle of Skye, where Talisker is the only whisky made. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is a blend of spirit run through five stills, two for the first distillation and three for the second. Their traditional worm coils, rather than modern condensers, are used to give a more intense flavour. The nose opens with strong peat smoke, followed by candied citrus, pepper, caramel, dried fruit, malt, ginger and a salty edge. The palate is warm and soft, with dried fruit and smoke returning before a peppery finish.
