A single malt Talisker distilled in 1960 and bottled in the 1970s by Gordon & Macphail, at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Talisker was founded in 1830 by brothers Hugh and Kenneth Macaskill, who leased Talisker House from the chief of Clan MacLeod. The distillery was destroyed by fire in 1960, and the stills were replaced with exact replicas of the originals. This whisky may have been distilled on the original set of stills.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
