This is an 8-year-old Talisker single malt from the distillery on Skye, part of the 2021 Diageo Special Releases under the title Legends Untold. It is themed around the Rogue Seafury, the sea creature said to watch over the distillery.
The whisky was aged in casks that had held heavily peated whisky, and it is bottled at full strength.
The nose shows a rich, briny note of seaweed and sea salt, followed by ash, cigar, coal and apple.
Tasting Notes
Rich briny seaweed and sea salt, then ash, cigar, coal and apple
