Talisker Special Releases 2023 is an 11 year old single malt from the Isle of Skye, a limited edition bottled at natural cask strength in a 75cl bottle.
After maturing for eleven years, the whisky was finished in ruby, white and tawny port casks.
The nose and palate bring smoky peat, cracked black pepper and a briny coastal note, with dark berries, dried fruit and a gentle sweetness from the port. The finish is warming spice and oak. It can be drunk neat or with a few drops of water.
