Talisker Storm is a single malt from the Talisker distillery on the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% without an age statement. It was first introduced in 2013.
The whisky is matured in a mix of refill and toasted American oak casks, and it leans into the maritime smoke and pepper of the Talisker style.
The nose is a smoky sea breeze with honeyed malt, citrus peel and vanilla. On the palate come peat smoke, brine, oak spice and a little chilli warmth over caramel and orange zest. The finish is warming and peppery, with salt and a waxy note.
