Talisker The Distiller's Edition is a limited-edition single malt from the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% ABV. It is double matured, with a finish in Amoroso sherry casks.
The sherry adds sweet, fruity depth to Talisker's smoky, peppery character.
The nose combines peat smoke, sea salt and a touch of citrus with dried fruit and caramel. On the palate, smoke leads, with ripe plums, dark chocolate and subtle spice. The finish is long and warming, with pepper, oak and a trace of sea salt.
