Tamdhu 12 Year Old is a single malt that serves as the distillery's signature whisky and the first release in its collection of slowly matured whiskies. It is bottled at 43% ABV and has a natural colour.
It matures in Oloroso sherry casks made from both European and American oak, which give the whisky its balance.
The nose is creamy, with raisin, vanilla and cinnamon. Raisins carry through to the palate, joined by berries and a sherry-cask spiciness. The finish is long and pleasant, with a touch of English liquorice.
