Tamdhu 8 Year Old Provenance is a sherried Speyside single malt, matured for eight years in Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle without chill-filtration.
The nose brings red fruit, raisins and dried cherries, with soft vanilla, gentle oak spice and a hint of toasted nuts. The palate is smooth and fruity, with sherry-soaked plums, caramel, dark chocolate, cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is long, warming and slightly spiced, with lingering sherry sweetness and gentle oak.
