Tamdhu Batch Strength 5 is a single malt from the Speyside distillery at Knockando in Banffshire. It is bottled without chill filtration. The whisky was matured in Oloroso sherry casks, which give it a deep copper colour and a rich, complex flavour. Tasting notes describe nuts, cinnamon and vanilla on the nose, with a creamy palate of fresh summer berries. A drop of water brings out citrus, oak and freshly baked cookies. The finish carries a full, spicy sweetness of clementine peel.
