This is Tamdhu Cask Strength, batch 5, a Speyside single malt matured in oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 59.8% ABV. On the nose there are Brazil nuts, cinnamon and warm vanilla pods. The palate offers double cream with sharp summer berries, and a drop of water brings out citrus, oak and freshly baked cookies. The finish builds with warming spices before giving way to the crisp sweetness of clementine zest.
