This is the eighth batch of Tamdhu's Batch Strength series, a Speyside single malt matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 55.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill-filtering.
The nose combines warm oak, sweet honeycomb and creamy vanilla. The palate shows lively summer berries, and a few drops of water bring out candied lemon peel and spicy oak. The finish is expressive, leaving ripe figs, fresh lemon zest and pleasantly dry oak.
