In the 1960s there started a resurgence in the interest in whisky and single malts, in particular, Invergordon Distillers acted upon this increase in demand and built Tamnavulin distillery with 6 stills. This Tamnavulin 12 year old is very malty on the nose, with notes of vanilla and flower meadows, the palate brings some camomile tea, hay, nuts and ginger with a medium to long finish of honey walnuts and ginger. An interesting malt that can be useful to help exercise your palate in whisky tasting.
