Tamnavulin – Port Cask Edition (70cl, 40%)

Tamnavulin Port Cask Edition is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and it comes in a presentation box. The whisky is first matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and then finished in casks that previously held Port. The finish adds depth, dark fruit and sweetness to the fruity house style of the distillery. The nose offers ripe plums, black cherries, red berries and raisins with vanilla, caramel and sweet spice. The palate is soft, with berries, plum jam, milk chocolate, honey and toasted oak. The finish runs medium to long, warm, with black fruit, soft cocoa and sweet spice.
