Tamnavulin Tempranillo Cask is a single malt from the Tamnavulin distillery in Speyside, sold in a 1 litre bottle. The whisky is rested in casks that previously held Tempranillo, the Spanish red wine, and has an intense amber colour.
The nose is cherry and blackberry, with light vanilla and toffee. The palate is rich and velvety, with malt sweetness set against the character of the Tempranillo casks. The finish is long and warm.
