Tanqueray London Dry Gin is a juniper-forward London dry gin at 47.3% ABV, here in a 1.75 litre bottle.
The recipe rests on four botanicals: juniper, coriander seed, angelica root and liquorice. The grain spirit is distilled four times, with the botanicals added during the second distillation. It is made at Cameronbridge Distillery in Fife, Scotland.
The nose is led by juniper, with citrus peel, dry herbal angelica and a faint liquorice sweetness. The palate is clean and bracing, with warm coriander spice, and dry and full-bodied overall. The finish is long and peppery, with lingering herbal dryness.
